As we journey through this Advent season, a time of hope, preparation, and anticipation, we are reminded of our spiritual call to care for our neighbors. Thank you, Nativity, for your continued generosity in supporting those experiencing homelessness!
During November’s Homelessness & Housing Outreach Month, the Nativity community:
- Donated over $6k to Beacon Interfaith Housing to support the building of a unit in their Gladstone Crossing development for young single mothers and their children;
- Collected a pickup truckload of household donations for one of Beacon’s supportive housing residential facilities, Kimball Court;
- Raised $5487 for LSS Metro Homeless Youth to experience some of the joys of Christmas while getting their basic needs met;
- Donated and assembled over 172 packs full of healthy snacks for youth and their families who receive supportive housing services from our community partner Solid Ground.
