October Is Global Outreach Month

The Global Outreach team recognizes the need to alleviate human suffering in the world and connects the Nativity Community to Global Mission opportunities focusing on health care and literacy. During Global Outreach Month, Nativity also collaborates with international organizations focused on alleviating hunger around the world. Nativity will also host a Global Outreach themed worship the weekend of October 19-20.

“Days for Girls”

For Global Outreach Month in October, the Global Outreach Team is organizing efforts to provide female hygiene kits for girls and women in Madagascar. Join us on Oct. 7, as we prep and pack the kits. Sewers and others welcome! If you sew, please plan to bring your sewing machine. There will also be tasks for non-sewers. Turn Hunger into Hope

Feed My Starving Children partners with other relief organizations around the world to alleviate hunger. Bread for the World Letter Writing Campaign
October 19-20, after all worship hours | Commons
As part of October’s Global Outreach Month, Nativity will hold an in-person letter writing event the weekend of Oct. 19-20, in observance of World Food Day on Oct. 16. Bread for the World’s 2024 Offering of Letters will support domestic and international nutrition programs that offer a hand up to families and a brighter future for children.
