This month we celebrate our commitment as a Reconciling in Christ congregation to welcoming and affirming people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. We’ll enjoy worship, music, and preaching that lift up the ongoing work of welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for our LGBTQIA+ siblings in Christ.

Deacon Kyle will preach on radical inclusivity and unconditional acceptance. Nativity members Dan and Colin Perucco will share their experience with building an affirming community.

Pastor Glenn will preach on God’s affirming love. Jaena Wisniewski will share during worship.

Rev. Angela LaMoore will preach with a Pride-themed message. Jeanne Cotter will speak during worship.

We’ll welcome guest preacher Rev. Dr. Justin Sabia-Tanis, Associate Professor of Christian Ethics and Social Transformation and Director of the Social Transformation Program at United Theological Seminary. He is the author of Transgendered Ministry, Theology and Communities of Faith in addition to many additional works covering the intersections of sexuality, gender, and religion. Nativity member Rachel Becker-Warner will also perform during worship. Pastor Emeritus Jerry Hoffman will speak in worship.
June 30 | Minneapolis Pride Parade
