Make an Offering: How will you make an offering today? An offering is not always money. You can also offer your time, support, or creativity to improve the lives of others.

Read the Bible Together
Read this week’s God’s Great Story in the children’s Bible for your child’s age.
Frolic Bible (received at Baptism) “Abraham & Sarah”
Spark Story Bible (received at 3 years old) “God’s Promise to Abram” on page 34
Bible (Adventure Bibles received in 3rd Grade) Genesis 12:1-2 and Genesis 15:1-6
3 Year Olds and 3rd Graders will receive their New Bibles as part of our Milestone Ministry this fall.
Talk About It!
Have fun asking question for all your family members!
Have you ever looked at a starry sky? Can you count the stars?
God promised Abram he would have a son and a family as numerous as the stars in the sky! How big is your family? How big is God’s family?
Dig Deeper: Do some research on your ancestors. Try to learn at least one new story or detail about someone in your family.
Family Activity Choices
Pick activities to do together!
Activity: Prayer Constellation Use paper and markers to make a prayer constellation (or use black construction paper & white crayons). As you place each star, pray for each of your family members.

Activity 3: Stargazing Get a blanket out on a clear evening and look at the stars together.

Bless Each Other
At the end of you time, give each other a special blessing to remember one of God’s promises.
Trace a star with your finger on each others hand (or simply make so twinkly star hands) and say “You are a blessing from God!”
