Join Peder Engebretson on Feb. 13, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. via Zoom for a conversation with Winfred Payne, the CEO of Alternatives, a program for youth dedicated in part to helping people with prison records gain access to vital yet elusive private and public services. Winfred is a friend Peder made through his work with the Nativity Racial Equity and Justice Ministry team (REJM) and Nativity’s growing relationship with the Center for Leadership and Neighborhood Engagement (CLNE) non-profit led by Pastor Kelly Chatman. Winfred’s background as a Black Panther, federal prisoner, and community activist is a riveting story.
