Each week you will find resources to help create inspiration for doing social justice and advocacy at home.
Come see our new FACEBOOK GROUP and see other creative ways to connect with each other!
Confirmation
Because the in-person advocacy experiences have been put on hold. Kelly has created short, weekly reflections for you to do to make up for the experiences we had to cancel. During this time Kelly will suggest ways to do advocacy from home. Work with your small group (this can be done from afar) to be a part of one of these experiences from home!
Journaling
Take time to write your answers to the questions in each week’s Advocacy @ Home Lessons and send them to Kelly@nativitychurch.org Be sure to put your name and Small Group Leader on your submission.
Checking In
Internal Weather Support
Your feelings are like the weather. You can feel like there’s a sunny day inside (e.g., happy, joy), like it’s gloomy and grey (e.g., bored, down), rainy (e.g., sad, depressed), stormy (e.g., irritated, angry, etc.), or anything else you can think of. Write down your internal weather report. Define the weather and the emotions you are feeling however you want.
SMALL GROUP CHECK-IN
We would like you to try and check-in with your small group and leader. Contact Kelly to reserve a time for you to use ZOOM to check-in through a video chat with each other!
