Because stock gifts involve a few more steps than giving through the Sunday offering, we hope that this sheet will answer most of your questions.

When you decide to transfer stock to the church, please notify the Business Administrator, Beth Schuman, at 612-781-2766 or Beth@NativityChurch.org. We will watch for the shares, and we will be able to match the stock with the donor.
Please tell us:
- Your name and address
- The name of the stock you will be donating and the number of shares.
- The designation to which the proceeds should be directed.
Once the stock has arrived in the church’s account, the Business Administrator will place a sell order. It is policy of The Nativity Lutheran Church not to speculate in the securities market, but to sell stock gifts as soon as is practicably possible.
The church will send you an acknowledgement letter after the shares have been successfully transferred. If you don’t hear anything, please notify the Business Administrator, so we can investigate.
